"Pity the daughters and sons of mothers who are whores."
-Yea, so speaketh the Lying Lion for the fourth time in the second thousandeth and eleventh year after the birth of his mother's Lord.

FORGETTING NOW FROM A TO Z
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
From Citizen Robot via Vitagraph, American. A sort of game where u list a movie most important to u for each letter of the alphabet, though I streched my version of the rules a bit, each letter corresponds to the first non-the word in the title. The images from each movie side by side really struck me as beautiful. Make yr own list and post a link in the comments if u do. I also wrote some tawdry polemics to justify the presence of such a list on a blog for my "poems" which accompany and debase each scene from my favorite movies here. | BELOW: TAWDRY POLEMICS |
A A Boy and His Dog | Let us begin by agreeing to be faithful to the end. |
B Barfly | Poor as we are, let's have a good time. |
C Cool Hand Luke | Eggs r cheap. Eat & get strong. Though it seems otherwise, we work for nothing material. |
D Drugstore Cowboy | So smile @ sentinals, leaveing behind today's fix for tomorrow's freedom. |
E The Empire Strikes Back | Inisde every evil empire's an innocent participant, as surely as a big charity hides a healthy profit. |
F Fata Morgana | Purity is barren & Life's creations are a mess |
G The Golem | Let's make monsters of ourselves. Let the villagers & kings cowar. |
H Horsefeathers | The bigger the better my friend. The bottom's dropped out. |
I The Immigrant | And it is better to be stuck with a bill that we can't pay for $300 than $30. |
J Junk Squad | When they come to collect, We'll fire what we find, |
K Kubrick (I'm Cheating, he deserves his own letter) | Knowing that they know its all been for show. |
L Lawrence of Arabia | Blow up the ties that bind! The world is ours to take! |
M Maltese Falcon | But there's always another fat man who finds a way to make us negotiate. |
N Nosferatu The Vampyre | For a moment forget. U have a tender spot and you've left it to a stranger. |
O Out of The Past | Should we fail, remember: losing in the end depends on which end's up. |
P Pink Flamingos | Like an egg, the big end's as good to some as the small. |
Q (Vision) Quest | Eggs again. That's where it begins after desire. |
R The Road Warrior | After the end, we learn to live again. |
S Stroszek | And again a dance from eggs trapped in glass. |
T They Live | Glasses to see bankers for what they are. To chew bubblegum and kick ass. |
U (20000 Leagues) Under the Sea | Rescued and then trapped by machines, by fear, by greed. |
V (Fearless) Vampire Killers | Naked awaiting their lord, villagers still are not free. |
W When Nature Calls | When nature calls, do not hesitate. |
X Hitchhiker's Guide To The Gala[X]y (Wow a made for TV movie...) | Don't panic or be an old goat. |
Y Young Frankenstein | We've never seen anthing like this, and perhaps for somebody or something: |
Z Zardoz | It is all just for show. |

I WON IN THE END
All my friends were friends
All my enemies were enemies.
Got my first love back
and happily she stayed to the last.
I had golden gloves and a black belt.
and apparently
a very vivid imagination.

JAPANESE SACRIFICE
300 called 50
who defy fear to die
while the G20 meet
to discuss
to disguise.
hope is soon swept away
by another human
disaster's wave on tide.

Clever Advice
Wouldn't it be a surprise if you asked nobody and they told you where to find nothing?

Scavengers Hunt
Most people are quick to assume any hypothetical last eagle on apocalypse's eve would soon swoop earthwards and lick carrion. Perhaps. But that tells you more about most people than it does about any specific eagle.

MAN
Trash!
Don't pick it up.
A love best thrown away.
Trash!
Used & left to lay.
Dimmed fluorescents' power cut.
Trash!
Bright again the Milky Way.

The Dictator's Share's Not Enough
Wide awake, eyes shut,
I see shades
deep blue oiled black,
rippled red.
Fast asleep, wide-eyed,
you praise mobs
eager to eat Earth.
It’s not our nature to begrudge
the boney blind bread.

HAHAHALOLZ
This final human’s a guitar with broken strings.
Shape's the same,
The curved hollow’s connected to a wooden neck,
but tension's gone and harmony.
Use what you got?
A clumsy drum mass produced,
beat in service to your future robot masters.

This One's Not Auto Biography
Went out seeking sweet madness.
Found but bitter reason to kiss.
Kindness's paid by pain.
Punishment's pleasure persists.

After This, I'll Never Be Sheriff
Weee, here we go making public what a wiser man'd keep private (Yea, Plato you liying corrupt old bastard, you and my Dad were right before you died dead. RIP. Anyhow, this one is autobiographical--surprise--except that I have since solved the heat and moisture problem in my 1999 Sea Breeze 5th Wheel. I guess that took some sort of ambition I should be ashamed of. Hahahaha.
After This, I'll Never Be Sheriff
Come inside my trailer.
Just lay there.
Now sit your base on my face
lie and say you love me.
Smell the mildew in my mattress
inside my no address fortress.
Come inside my trailer.
There's no way to fail there.
The door's always open
but don't you enter hopin'
to find ambition.
Just spillt spirits split
by nuclear fission.
